Gas leaks Gas is leaking from fuel valve may be loose, tighten securing nut while

leaks, valve may be faulty, replace.

Gas cap is not venting properly. Replace gas cap.
Remove cylinder head cover and look for disc valve
just inside of breather hose. This disc must be free
to open or close off opening. If stuck in one position
or completely missing, replace cylinder head cover
assembly.
