Wi-Fi Box The Wi-Fi Box is intended for indoor use in combination with a Bellfires gas appliance and with the 'Barbas Bellfires Gas' app in combination with a hand set or Puck. Do not use it for other purposes. 3.1.2 Puck The Puck is intended for indoor use in combination with a Bellfires gas appliance.

Installation of the Wi-Fi Box Installation of the Wi-Fi Box Make sure you have a Symax-2 receiver and a Symax-2 handset (8 or 10 buttons). Both can be recognized by the blue sticker. If not, contact your dealer. Connect the 4-wire cable on the connector marked 'SI ' on the receiver. Connect the other side of the 4-wire cable on the connector marked 'receiver' on the Wi-Fi Box Make sure LED 1 is green.

Connecting the Puck Connecting the Puck Remove the lid of the battery compartment at the back of the Puck. Put 2 batteries (type AAA, 1.5 Volt) in the battery compartment. Make sure the batteries are put correctly as indicated in the battery holder. Put the lid on the battery compartment.

Setup Setup Note: Screen shots shown in this manual are for an Apple iPad. The 'Barbas Bellfires Gas' app screen on an iPhone or Android mobile device can look different on details. The functionality and use is the same as described in this manual.

Operating the appliance Main menu 8.3.1 Profiles Define a maximum of 4 user profiles. Set a user profile Select one of the four user profiles. The selected user profile shows in the left hand corner of the screen. Select a function that must be included in the selected profile and set this function to the correct value or correct position.

Operating the appliance 8.3.2 Manual operation • Set the flame height by selecting one of the segments in the circle. • Select one of the three pre-defined settings with the three buttons on the bottom of the screen. Options are Low flame, Standby (pilot flame is ON) and High flame. •...

Operating the appliance 8.3.3 Thermostatic operation Control the room temperature with the thermostat. • Set the required room temperature by selecting a segment of the circle. During this selection the set temperature shows in the center of the circle. • After selection of the required temperature, the room temperature is shown in the center of the circle.

Operating the appliance 8.3.4 Timer Set the time interval after which the appliance switches to off. Set a time duration. The maximum time duration is 9 hours and 59 minutes. Press the Power button to start the timer. Press the Power button again to stop the timer. Note: At the end of the set time duration the appliance is set to OFF (the pilot 8.3.5 flame is also off).
Note: Before use of the Program mode make sure the time in the Wi-Fi Box is synchronized with the time of the mobile device. Open the settings page in the 'Barbas Bellfires Gas' app. Press under 'Fireplace settings' on the name of the appliance.

Operating the appliance Set a program Select one of the eight available programs by pressing on the number of the program Set the start time and the start temperature by selecting the green segments. Set the days of the week. Individual days, all 7 days, weekdays or weekends can be set.
Operating the appliance 8.3.6 ECO mode ECO mode makes it possible to change the flame height automatically during a set time cycle. Saves gas in comparison with manual mode or thermostatic mode. Set a flame cycle Select ECO mode from the menu. Select Low fire, Medium fire or High fire by pressing one of the three flame icons on the bottom of the screen.

Operating the appliance 8.3.7 Fan (optional) This function is only available if the appliance has a ventilator. Set the fan speed by selecting the preferred speed 1 to 4. Press the Power button on the bottom of the screen. Press the Power button on the bottom of the screen again to stop the ventilator. Note: The fan starts always with speed '4'.
Operating the appliance 8.3.8 Lighting (optional) This function is only available when the appliance has lighting Select lighting from the menu. Press Power button to switch lighting to ON. Lighting switches to last set intensity. Change the lighting intensity by swiping over the lightbulb in vertical direction. Press Power button again to switch lighting to OFF.

Article 5: Warranty period This warranty will only be granted during the warranty period. The body of the Barbas appliance and Bellfires appliance is guaranteed for a period of 10 years against construction and/or material faults, starting from the moment of purchase.
