3-5 Supported Cascading Configuration
Cascading allows the system to access data at a faster rate by allowing several
backplanes to share resources to reduce latency time.
The first backplane in a cascaded system requires a HBA hosted with a mother-
board. Other servers require only a power control card without an HBA and without
a motherboard.
