1. Place the elastomer bearing
2. Hold the elastomer bearing.
Holding the elastomer bearing prevents damage to the load cell.
3. Screw the hexagon screw

4. Place the load cell on the base plate using the spacing strip to match the holes.
5. Position the washers.
6. Insert the screws with washers.
7. Tighten the screws to the specified tightening torque (Page 33).
You will avoid damaging the load cell by not counter-tightening the load cell.

Install the load cell with elastomer bearing unit

Installation requirements
● Flatness of the mounting surfaces: A plane of ≤ 0.2 mm is required for the mounting
surfaces.
● Compressive strength of the mounting surfaces: The compressive strength of the mounting
surfaces has to be appropriate for the contact surface pressure of the base plate and
elastomer bearing.
