The accuracy of baseline measurements obtained by use of
®
cNODE transponders can be in the order of 0.01 m. However,
to obtain this kind of accuracy it is essential that the operator has
full control of the sound velocity. The figure below shows an
APOS screen dump showing the statistics from a LBL
calibration. The RMS residuals are calculated to be 0.03 m.
