ADJUSTING THE BRAKE

1. Engage the parking brake, stop the
blades, turn off the product, and remove
the start key.
2. Stand behind the mower, and push the
mower forward to test if the brakes need
adjustment.
WARNING: If the rear wheels turn, the
brakes need to be adjusted.
3. Locate the brake adjustment nuts on
the inner side of each rear wheel. Turn
each adjustment nut 1/2 turn clockwise
to tighten the brakes, then try to push the
mower.
4. Push the mower forward to test the
brakes. Continue to tighten the brakes
until the rear wheels no longer turn when
pushed.
