5. PREPARATION

NOTE:
Ensure the unit is switched in the "OFF" position and disconnected from the water supply before assembling or servicing (fig.1.1).
5.1.
WATER ASSEMBLY
5.1.1.
Ensure that the inlet filter (fig.3.8) is inserted into the water inlet (fig.3.8) and screw on the hose inlet fitting (fig.3.12).
5.1.2.
Connect the water feed hose to the hose inlet fitting. The feed hose must have an internal diameter of at least 13 mm (1/2").
5.1.3.
Connect the high pressure hose to the pump's outlet (fig.4.7).
5.1.4.
Open the water feed tap fully.
IMPORTANT The machine has to operate with clean water in order to avoid any damage to the machine.
IMPORTANT Always flush the machine through thoroughly with cold water after hot water use.
IMPORTANT Always release any stored water after use.
WARNING! The machine is not suitable for connection to the potable water mains. The machine can only be connected to the water
mains, if the mains are separated from the mains by a backflow preventer.
NOTE:
Feed water temperature must be between 5
5.2.
FUEL SIDE
NOTE:
DO NOT allow the machine to run out of fuel whilst running to avoid damaging the fuel pump.
NOTE:
Use the correct fuel indicated on the side panel (Diesel).
5.2.1.
DO NOT overfill the fuel tank to.
5.3.
DETERGENT SIDE
5.3.1.
Fill the detergent tank with the correct product for the washing task being undertaken. DO NOT overfill.
WARNING! Only use liquid detergent, NEVER use acid or alkali products.

6. OPERATION

NOTE:
Check oil level before first use. Remove outer cover and unscrew reservoir plug, located on the top of the pump. Fill to level
indicated on plug. Recommended oil grade SAE15W-40.
WARNING! The gun is fitted with a safety catch. Whenever use of the machine is interrupted, it is important to operate the safety catch
to prevent accidental activation of the jet. (fig.8.1, fig.8.2).
6.1.

PRESSURE WASHING

6.1.1.
Turn electric pump switch ON (see fig.1.1 and fig.8.3).
6.1.2.
To wash with hot water turn the burner switch ON (fig.1.2). Rotate control knob to increase or decrease the working water
temperature (fig.1.2) The burner operates when the trigger is pressed.
6.1.3.
Unlock and squeeze the trigger (fig.8.2, fig.8.4). To avoid kickback, hold the lance firmly and steady using both hands.
6.2.
DETERGENT OPERATION
6.2.1.
The adjusting head on the lance (fig.9, fig.2.13) is used to adjust the water jet pressure.
6.2.2.
When the nozzle is adjusted to a low pressure position (fig.9), detergent delivery will occur.
6.3.
TURNING MACHINE OFF
6.3.1.
Turn off water supply (fig.3).
6.3.2.
Turn off mains power.
6.3.3.
Release trigger and apply trigger lock (fig.8.1).
6.4.
AUTOMATIC STOP SYSTEM
6.4.1.
Automatic Stop system stops the machine during the bypass phase.
6.4.2.
To start the machine it is necessary to set the switch (fig.1.1) to the on (I) 'ON' position.
After that, press the trigger. The Automatic Stop System will start the machine and will
stop it automatically when the trigger is released. It is advisable to put on the trigger lock on
the pistol trigger whenever the machine is stopped, in order to prevent unintentional starting.
6.5.
WATER SUPPLY FROM AN OPEN CONTAINER
