Operating Bluetooth

Bluetooth
®
allows data transmission between devices over short distances.
Your device uses this technology to receive and play or send digital music data. E.g. via
smartphones or Bluetooth loudspeakers.

Notice
The flush-mounted radio is compatible with the popular Bluetooth-capable
devices that support the Bluetooth profile A2DP for audio transmission.
However, due to the technical design of external Bluetooth devices it may
happen that a Bluetooth device is not compatible with the flush-mounted radio.

Receiving Bluetooth
To play the data of an external multimedia device on the flush-mounted radio, the following
settings must have been made:
The Bluetooth mode of the flush-mounted radio must be set on "Receiver".
Setting Bluetooth mode, see chapter 9.3.16 "Menu "Bluetooth" - "Mode"" on page 68.
The external multimedia device must be coupled with the flush-mounted radio.
Coupling devices, see chapter 9.3.18 "Menu "Bluetooth" – "Couple device"" on page 70.
