Practical cooking tips
For best results when frying your potatoes/French fries, fry them in two steps:
For 1200g of chips:
• A first fry at 160°C for 7-9 minutes, then
• Another fry at 190°C for 6-9 minutes.
For 800g of chips:
• A first fry 160°C for 6-8 minutes, then
• Another fry at 190°C for 5-8 minutes.
For crunchy results, make sure to carefully dry the food before the frying process, the
latter applies especially for fresh potatoes.
Big chicken or potato chunks need a longer cooking time. Adjust the temperature
following the chart below, or follow the instructions on the food's packaging.
When cooking buttered food or doughnuts, remove the basket to prevent the food
from sticking to it. Carefully manipulate the pliers when removing the food from the oil.
Slowly and gradually soak the food into the oil.
