RUNGU Front Wheel Alignment Procedure The front wheels on a Rungu Juggernaut, MDV, or Dualie may become misaligned due to impact from an accident or aggressive off-roading. If you are presented with a Rungu with misaligned front wheels, please read the following instructions carefully.
V1.0 Rungu Front Wheel Alignment Procedure Contents Tools required ............................... 3 Checking for other damage/out-of-adjustment settings prior to wheel alignment ........3 Verifying handlebar position ........................3 Verifying linkage rod length.......................... 4 Re-aligning the wheels with the handlebars....................5 Testing the reallignment ..........................
Use measurement tape or a caliper to measure how far the handlebars extend as shown below. If the handlebars extend past the stems less than the measurements shown, readjust the handlebars as explained in the installation section of the Rungu Dualie owner manual. Verifying linkage rod length. Steering Rungu with minimum tire scrub depends on the overall length of the linkage rod between the two handlebars. The distance from the center of one linkage rod screw to the other should be 200 +/- 2mm.
Rungu Front Wheel Alignment Procedure Re-aligning the wheels with the handlebars If the Rungu has front mud flaps/fenders, use the 5mm hex wrench and an adjustable wrench to remove the fender retention screws from the fork attachment hole before continuing.

V1.0 Rungu Front Wheel Alignment Procedure Then place the alignment bar behind the fork stanchions and insert the alignment bar retention screws through the fender/mud flap mounting holes into the threaded holes in the alignment jig as shown below. Tighten the alignment bar retention screws such that ALL four stanchions are pressed against the alignment bar.

V1.0 Rungu Front Wheel Alignment Procedure Use a 5mm hex wrench to tighten each stem bolt incrementally to avoid stripping the threads in the bolt. In practice, this involves tightening all four bolts until they are finger tight and then alternating from one bolt to another, each with a quarter turn until they cannot be tightened further.

V1.0 Rungu Front Wheel Alignment Procedure Test the clamping strength of the stem bolts by grabbing one or both handlebars and clamping one of the front wheels between your knees. Then try to rotate the handlebars to the right and left. The stem is tight if the wheel and steering assembly flex.
V1.0 Rungu Front Wheel Alignment Procedure Disposition If the test fails to misalign the wheels, the realignment is complete. If the test misaligns one or both wheels, repeat the alignment process, retighten the stem bolts and repeat the test. Further questions Contact support by e-mail at support@riderungu.com...
