GS-X Sweep Release Assembly Adjustment

This adjustment is made to ensure the sweep wagon is being hooked and lifted by the tipper during a short cycle on the
pinsetter.
Issue: During the short cycle on the pinsetter the sweep release chain will swing excessively causing the tipper on the
sweep release to contact the sweep wagon pin at the top or go under the pin and not raise the sweep wagon.
Solution: Using a set of metric Allen wrenches, loosen the two small Allen Screws at the top of the sweep release
assembly and the two larger silver Allen screws in the middle of the assembly. Loosen all screws enough to be able to
move the top and the bottom of the assembly freely. (Refer to Figure 1 and 2)
If the sweep release is going under the lifting pin on the sweep wagon you will need to adjust the tipper at the end up,
by holding the top of the assembly with your left hand and the lower part of the assembly with your right hand you can
move the middle of the assembly towards the rear of the pinsetter. Adjust and tighten until the sweep is being picked up
every time in a short cycle.
(Figure 3) and (Figure 4) will show how the assembly can be moved to make the actual adjustment. Try to position as
shown in (Figure 4) Test by running the pinsetter in 10 pin mode to verify the sweep is being picked up on a short cycle.
This may take several attempts to get the adjustment correct for the tipper to hook the pin on the wagon to raise the
sweep.
