Adjusting the Flange Focal Length

Turn the Ff adjustment ring screw counterclockwise to
loosen the ring, and turn the ring until the subject
mentioned in step 1 comes into focus.
Do not move the focus ring while doing this.

Repeat steps 4 to 7 until the subject comes into focus at
the telephoto and wide positions.

Turn the Ff adjustment ring screw clockwise to tighten.

Set the I, Z, and F switches to A.
The flange focal length was adjusted.
You do not need to readjust until you change the video
camera.

When you want a special effect on the picture, or shoot a
person with a bright sky in the background, or if you shoot a
subject with high contrast, adjust the iris manually

Set the I switch to M.

Turn the iris ring.
To open the iris, turn counterclockwise. To close the
iris, turn clockwise.
