Safeguards
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the
instructions including the warranty, the receipt and the box with the internal packing. If you give
this device to others, please also pass on the operation instructions.

1. The appliance is designed for private use and only for the intended purpose. This appliance is
not fit for commercial use.
2. Do not use outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip
into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is
humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
3. When cleaning or putting it away, switch of the appliance and always pull out the plug from the
socket (pull the plug, not the lead).
4. The device should be checked regularly for signs of damage. If any damage is found the devi-
ce shall not be used.
5. Only use original spare parts.
6. In order to ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, poly-
styrene etc.) out of their reach.
7. Warning! Don´t let small children play with foils, danger of suffocation.
8. Do not operate the device with an external timer or a separate remote control system.
9. Place the appliance on an even, dry and heat-resistant surface.
10. Use a heat resistant plate when placing on sensitive surfaces.
11. Do not move the device when it is in operation.
12. Due to the rising heat and vapors the device should not be operated under wall cupboards
13. Keep the unit at a safe distance from easily inflammable objects such as furniture, curtains etc.
14. Under no circumstances should the device be installed in cupboards.
15. Ventilation: Always keep the ventilation slot free from dirt or obstructions.
16. Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized technician.
17. The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way.
18. Children shall not play with the appliance.
19. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8
years and supervised.
20. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
CAUTION:
Do not immerse the device into water from cleaning. Please follow the instructions as
stipulated in the chapter "Cleaning"

Before initial use

1. Remove any packaging and transport safety equipment from the device, if present. All parts
should be rubbed down with a damp cloth. This will remove dust which might have collected
during transport. Re-insert the part in the reverse order.
2. Insert the main plug into a correctly installed safety power socket.
3. Ensure the machine is switched off.
4. Place the machine on a dry, non-slip surface.
