Introduction:
This simply aux adapter allows users t to connect and play any audio device via a
3.5mm jack to select 1984-01 Volvo CD changer ready radios. This adapter
connects to the 8-pin CD changer port on radio which guarantees the best
quality playback on the car speakers. With this adapter you keep the factory
radio and enjoy music content stored on audio device or from the internet if
using Smartphone. The VOL-AUX replaces factory CD changer (if present).
Installation:
Radio must be pulled from the dash to connect the adapter.
Although not critical, we recommend disconnecting the
car battery. Keep in mind that most Volvo radios are
coded and will not operate without the code. Radio code
must be available for radio to operate upon
reconnection. The following guide is based on Volvo "SC"
radio.
To remove you must first push in on the release tabs at the bottom
