Display

 Icon indication
In Song control mode,
Folder control mode,
the 1st line. In either mode,
appears on the 2nd line.
 Text/graphic information display
Displays the song title, folder name,
artist name, current date/time,
messages and menu items.
To change the display mode, proceed to
the "Display Mode" menu (  page 32).
Switch the display to power save
mode if you do not intend to use the
player for a while (  page 44).
 Playing status indication
Displays the current play mode (  :
playback,  : pause,  (  ): fast-
rewinds (fast-forwards),  (  ):
skips to the beginning of the current
(or next) song /folder).
 Lapse time indication
Displays the elapsed time.
 Play mode indication
Displays the current play mode icon
(  page 22). If the play mode is set
to Normal, no icon appears.
 Sound quality setting indication
appears, in Displays the current sound quality
appears on icon (  page 25). If the sound
quality is not set, no icon appears.
 Remaining battery indication
Displays the remaining battery
power.

