For combustion in the Vitoligno 300-S, the following
requirements apply for logs, such as split or round
logs:

A proportion of the wood fuel may be wood in small pieces as described below.
Coarse woodchips:

Must not be coated in or contain wood preservative.
Non-approved fuels
Danger
The use of unsuitable fuels leads to risk of poi-
soning. Burning waste or wood that has been
treated with timber preservatives or has been
coated with materials containing organic halo-
genated compounds creates highly poisonous
flue gases.
Only use permissible fuels.

damaging the heating system. Burning waste or
wood that has been treated with timber preser-

result in serious corrosion damage in the boiler.
