My unit beeps, is the rest button on a GREE PORATABLE AIR CONDITIONER MODEL NUMBER G-17PACSW. I bought it off of someone and I don't have the remote could it beep because of this. Thanks

Yes, there is a RESET button on the power supply cord of the Gree portable air conditioner. Pressing the RESET button restores power, which may stop the unit from beeping if the beeping is caused by a power issue.
