Chiselling Function Switch (Not available in all models) *
The function selection (drilling, hammer drilling or chiselling) must be carried out before use.
* Drilling without hammering (in soft stone, wood or steel ): Turn the hammer function switch to the corresponding position
(marked with a symbol of a drill) and disengage the chiselling function via the chisel function switch.
* Hammer drilling (in concrete or hard stone): Turn the hammer function switch to the corresponding position (marked with
a symbol of a drill and a hammer) and disengage the chiselling function via the chisel function switch.
* Chiselling: Turn the hammer function switch to the corresponding position and engage the chiselling function via the chisel
function switch. In this position on the drill chuck does not rotate.
Only set the hammer and chiselling functions when the machine is switched off.

Maintenance

Your Bormann power tool has been designed to operate over a long period of time with minimum maintenance needs.
Cleaning
Keep the ventilation slots clean and clear and regularly clean the housing using a soft cloth.
Disposal
The power tool, accessories and packaging should be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
Only for EC countries:
Do not dispose of power tools into household waste!
According the European Guideline 2002/96/EC for Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment and its
implementation into national right, power tools that are no longer usable must be collected separately and
disposed of in an environmentally correct manner.

Lubrication
All models equipped with a lubrication system cap must be lubricated.
Caution: Prior to lubrication, always disconnect the plug from the power supply socket.
1. Before feeding oil, use the wrench to remove the lubrication container cap. Be careful not to
lose the rubber packing attached below the oil gauge.
2. Check the oil level periodically, confirming that oil is filled.
3. After feeding oil, securely clamp the oil gauge.
