  • Page 4 EN-2 2.2 Installation Follow the steps below. Refer to the figures when performing these steps. For installation of RS232 option only, Plug the RS232 communication cable into the 3-pin socket on the communication board. Note: If the scale is powered with rechargeable battery, plug the RS232 cable into the same location on the communication PCB board, and keep the extra PCB board as a backup for future use.
  • Page 5 EN-3 Organize the communication cable and snap it into the upper card slot, and pull it out from the rear direction along the edge of the dry battery to clamp the O-ring on the communication line to the U-shaped notch. Close the battery cover.
  • Page 6 EN-4 COMMUNICATION – RS232 3.1 Setup The OHAUS Interface is preset to communicate using the following settings: 9600 baud, 8 bit, no parity, no handshake. Determine the RS232 parameters with PC that is to be connected. Upon installation of the interface, the scale will recognize the RS232 Interface and show relevant items in the user menu.

Stecken Sie das RS232-Kommunikationskabel in die 3-polige Buchse auf der Kommunikationsplatine.
