Detaching the Viewfinder Barrel

The viewfinder barrel can be detached for a direct
view of the LCD screen. The barrel must be detached
to clean the viewfinder's LCD screen and internal
mirror.
See page 5 (E) for more information about cleaning the
LCD screen and internal mirror.

While pressing the release knob, rotate the
viewfinder barrel in the counterclockwise
direction.

Detach the barrel.

To attach the viewfinder barrel

Align the alignment mark on the body of the
viewfinder with the alignment mark on the
viewfinder barrel.

Slide the viewfinder barrel into the body, while
keeping the alignment marks aligned.

Rotate the viewfinder barrel in the clockwise
direction until the release knob clicks into place.
