Using the Address Book

Tip: From the Home screen, press the Right
Navigation key to access the Address Book
menu.
Dialing a Number from Address Book
Once you have stored phone numbers in the
Address Book, you can dial them easily and
quickly by using the location numbers that were
assigned to them in the Address Book.
Note: The default Address Book entries are:
AT&T Account Balance: *777#
AT&T Check Your Data Balance: *777*3#
AT&T Customer Care: 1-800-901-9878
AT&T Directory Assistance: 411
AT&T Refill Your Account: 611
AT&T VoiceInfo: #121
Finding an Address Book Entry
You can store your contact's names and phone
numbers on your SIM card and in your phone's
onboard memory. The two locations are
physically separate, but are used as a single
entity, called the Address Book.
Depending on your particular SIM card, the
maximum number of phone numbers the SIM
card can store and how they are stored may
differ.

From the Home screen, press Menu

Use the Up or Down Navigation key to

locate a contact.

Use the keypad to enter the first few
letters of the name.
The Address Book entries are then listed,
starting with the first entry matching your
input.
Tip: The Groups tab allows you to locate contacts
by Group. Use the Left or Right Navigation key
to move between Contacts and Groups.
To select a different entry, press the Up or

Down Navigation key until the entry you
want is highlighted.
Once you have found the entry, press
