Our products are built for use based on
proper installation and normal residential
use, on level ground. Please follow the
instruction manual when building your
shed and retain the manual for future
maintenance purposes.
Some of the safety and usage measures you may wish to consider include:
-snow load ratings vary by geographical location. If heavy or wet snowfall occurs, it is advisable to sweep the
snow off the roof(s).
-if the product is elevated, any structural and building code requirements are solely the customer's
responsibility, and should be abided by.
-in high or gusty wind conditions it is advisable to keep the structure securely grounded.
-have a regular maintenance plan to ensure screws, doors, windows and parts are tight.

A. Floor Section Exploded view of all parts necessary to complete Floor Section. Identify all parts prior to starting. Note, Floor Footprint is 182” deep x 96” wide. Floor Joist Frames Plywood Floor Small (4) Small (4) Floor Joist Frames Large (4) Plywood Floor Large (4) - Page 4 Lay out Floor Joist Frames as illustrated at left. There are 4 larger and 4 smaller Frame Sections. The Footprint for the floor when attached together will be 182” deep x 96” wide. Attach each large and small floor joist frames together with 6 - 2.5”...
- Page 5 Concrete Slab Alternate Runners Foundation With Floor Runners attached, carefully flip the floor over and place on your foundation. Complete all Floor Runners. Caution- you will need 2 people to assist you. Be careful when laying floor down not to bend or twist Foundations floor.

- Page 7 Bottom Wall Plate Starting with Solid Wall Panels, carefully lay panel face down. Position and attach Wall Plate to bottom of wall studs of each wall panel with 6 - 2 1/2” screws. Position so plates are flush with framing. Starting at Rear Corner, position a Wall Panel on top of plywood floor.
- Page 8 Position rear solid wall into place on plywood floor. Butt both vertical wall studs of side and rear walls together and attach with 3 - 2.5” screws. Screw at the bottom, middle and top of stud to secure properly. Do Not Attach Walls To Floor until Step 23.
- Page 9 Locate Window Insert. Place Window Insert into wall opening tight to wall siding. On the inside, shim Window Insert evenly in cavity. Kits include one additional shingle for shimming of the window. When properly positioned, secure Window Insert to wall framing cavity with 4 - 2” screws.
- Page 10 Complete both Narrow Wall attachments making sure 2x3 wall framing is flush with floor joists and plywood and siding of wall is overhanging the floor by approximately 1/2”. Sits flush with inside of wall framing In the next steps, the Door Header is attached. There are 2 short and 1 long 2” X 3” pieces . Start by attaching both short end pieces using 2 - 2 1/2”...
- Page 11 When all walls are attached together, check alignment with the floor. Bottom wall framing should sit flush with outside of floor joists and plywood floor. Confirm 67” wide door opening at bottom. When positioned correctly, fasten bottom wall plates to floor using 4 - 2 1/2” screws per wall panel.
- Page 12 Next, attach the 6 Side Top Plates (3 per side). The side top plates are angle cut down the length. Once again, position top plate on wall plate so it is flush with inside of wall plate. Side plate should also be flush with Front Top Plate.
- Page 13 Note- Prior to attaching, check from front (siding side) to confirm siding lines up reasonably well. Try each combination prior to attaching together to get the best fit. Lift up a completed gable section and place on top of Rear Top Plate on wall. The rear gable framing should sit flush with the inside of the top plate.
- Page 14 Complete positioning and attachment of front gable as per Step 30. 31a. Locate both Vertical Door Jambs and position flush against front narrow wall stud. The Jamb is 3” wide and will sit flush to outside of wall siding. When positioned correctly, secure Jamb using 4 - 2 1/2”...

- Page 16 Ridge Board Metal Ridge Locate12 Rafters, 2 Soffits and Board Connector completed Ridge Board. Lay out on level ground as shown to the right. Screw doubled up Rafters together with 3 - 2 1/2” screws per piece. Note, completed rafter section will flipped over in Step 37.
- Page 17 To fortify the completed Rafter Section prior to lifting on to roof, temporarily secure 2 - 75” long Filler Trim pieces to rafters as shown to the left with 4 - 1 1/4” screws per pieces. Important- Do not discard Filler Trim Temporarily attach 2 Filler Pieces, will need later.
- Page 18 Rafter should rest on gable framing Gable Notch Slide Rafter Section up on gable framing gable framing until bottom of Ridge Board slips into gable notch. When Rafter Section is correctly positioned, outside rafters will sit equally on gable framing and Soffit will sit approximately 1/8”...
- Page 19 Metal Offsetting Ridge Board Connectors Remove temporary Filler Trim. Remove temporary Filler Trims required to help support Rafter Sections. Important- Do not discard, will need later. At the peak, align Ridge Boards so they are flush together and secure them with 16 - 1 1/4”...
- Page 20 91” across Roof Gussets are positioned on middle rafters. Prior to attaching, make sure front and rear walls are properly aligned. Have two helpers push the front and rear walls at the top from the outside of shed until inside to inside measurement between front and rear plates is 91”. When correct, slide gusset up, use level to square gusset and attach to rafters with 4 - 1 1/2”...
- Page 21 Roof Batten flush with rafter end. Place Roof Panel so it sits flush on 3rd rafter from the outside (doubled up rafter). Lowest batten on roof should be flush with end of rafter at bottom. From the outside, screw down through bottom row of shingles into rafter with 1 - 2 1/2”...
- Page 22 Attach above the exposure line. Exposure Line Roof Filler Shingles are included to Screw first Filler Shingle down to cover roof seams. Starting at the bottom, rafters using 1 - 2.5” screw per panel. slide the first Long Shingle in until flush Make sure to screw into rafter.

Pentagon Front and Rear Ridge Cap Door Hardware... - Page 24 Attach additional 1 1/4” screws on bottom edge of wall siding into Attach Bottom Skirting bottom wall plate to further secure bottom siding to framing. Note, around the base of the shed. Corner Trim will cover screws in Steps 58 & 59. Drill pilot holes Skirting will hide floor in siding to prevent splitting.
- Page 25 Wide Corner Trim Attach Narrow Corner Trims to in each corner (4 - 1/2” x 2 1/2” x 79” long). Use 6 - 1 1/4” finishing nails per piece. Align Trim so flush with bottom of bottom skirting and flush with Wide Corner Trim.
- Page 26 Pentagon Facia Plate 72 1/4” long 45 1/2” long Attach Pentagon Facia Plate where Attach Side Facia (Square cut on ends) to rafter End Facia meets at the peak. Use 4 - 1 1/4” ends using 2 - finishing nails per rafter end. Both outside finishing nails per piece to secure.
- Page 27 Position Door Trim (2 - 1/2” x 2 1/2” x 77 1/2”) pieces flush with outside of door jamb and flush with bottom of bottom skirting. Attach with 6 - 1 1/4” finishing nails. Flush with outside of door jamb and bottom skirting.
- Page 28 8” 8” Place 3rd Ridge Cap 8” back from 2nd. (enough to cover shingle nails). Attach 3rd Ridge Cap down as per Step 68. Continue to position and attach Ridge Caps until half roof is complete. From opposite side, position and attach Ridge Caps as described above.
- Page 29 Position Left Side Door as per Step 71 and secure with 2” Black Screws. When satisfied with door positioning, complete all 2” screws. Note, Do not over tighten hinge screws when using screw gun. Tighten 3/4 and use a Screw Driver finish so as not to strip screws.
- Page 30 Inside Edge of Door Frame Position and attach Vertical Door Flange on inside door frame (left door from outside) using 6 - 2” screws. Position on inside edge of door frame. The Interior Cane Bolt will be attached to Vertical Door Flange.
