1. Take the base and the pole assembly out of the box, and then loosen the
fastening bolt from bottom of the pole assembly (see Fig. 1) .
2. Put the pole assembly into the base, and lock them together by tightening
the fastening bolt (see Fig. 2) .
3. Loosen the height-adjustment ring and adjust the inner pole to desired
height. Note: If you can't find the inner pole, it may have slid into the
outer pole and can be pulled out (see Fig. 3) .
4. Loosen the thumb screw on the bottom of the head unit. Then place the
head unit on the pole and tighten the thumb screw in alignment with the
groove on the inner pole (see Fig. 4) .
