8.3 Font Selection in the System Menu

The IOP file of the system menu is usually created by the Jetter software ISO-De-
signer. The firmware of the device is provided in a ZIP file containing the directory
edc_make.bat . Unzip all files and copy the IOP file of the system menu into the
edc_make directory. Make sure that the name of the IOP file corresponds to the
corresponding field in the edc.cfg file and change it if necessary in the line
starting with 496f-7072:
4544-4334;1.6.0.48;33434445;output file (EUID is hardware

First column: 496f-7072 (EUID, contains the identification of the system
menu and must not be changed).
Second column: Version number of the system menu IOP file.
Third column: Name of the IOP file (may need to be changed to match the
name of your file).
Fourth column: Comment field (will not compile).
Then execute the file edc.make.bat. Three files are output that can be used for
the three different update methods:
34434445.EDC - File for update via USB
3443445_EDC_x_x_x_.hex - File for the UDS update method via the CAN bus
3443445_Emergency.hex - File for the update via RS232
This update method must be carried out via a special tool and cable set and is
only to be used after consultation with Jetter.
