There may be debris lodged in the battery charge terminals. Remove the battery and remove any
debris found.
Replace the battery with a new one.
The screen is dim and the indicator flashes in red or lights in green.
The battery cover may be detached. Attach the cover properly.

Touch screen operation

The settings described below are explained in "Touch operation settings" (page 42).
I cannot operate the screen while wearing gloves.
Turn [Glove touch] on, or increase the [Glove thickness] setting.
The screen responds before I have touched the screen.
Turn [Glove touch] off, or decrease the [Glove thickness] setting.
Turn [Rain sensing touch] on.
Turn [Stylus pen] off, or set [Stylus pen type] to [Active pen only].
The screen responds incorrectly when it is wet.
Turn [Rain sensing touch] on, increase the [Rain condition] setting, or decrease the [Finger
sensitivity] setting.
The screen seems slightly unresponsive to touches.
Turn [Rain sensing touch] off, or increase the [Finger sensitivity] setting.
I cannot perform tap-and-hold operations.
Set [Rain condition] to [Light].
The screen does not respond to pinch operations.
Turn [Rain sensing touch] off.
I cannot operate the unit with an active type stylus pen.
Turn [Stylus pen] on, or set [Stylus pen type] to [Active pen only].
I cannot operate the unit with a passive type stylus pen.
Turn [Stylus pen] on, or set [Stylus pen type] to [Passive pen only].
My active type stylus pen responds poorly.
Set [Stylus pen type] to [Active pen only], or set [Active pen pressure] to [Light].
The touch position and response position are not aligned.
Turn [Glove touch] off, or set [Coordinates offset] to [None].

Connectivity

The SD card or other external device does not work.
The unit cannot connect to a network.
The corresponding hardware feature may be disabled by the [DeviceManagement] app (see
"Enabling and disabling certain hardware features" (page 36)).
The unit is not recognized as a mass storage device when connected to a computer (models
supporting cellular transmission only).
Make sure that USB tethering is turned off.

Swipe up the home screen, and then in the app list, tap [Settings] ® [Network & Internet] ®
[Hotspot & tethering].

Tap the [USB tethering] switch to turn it off.
I want to confirm the unit's MAC address.
