Turning customized silent mode on and off
There are multiple methods you can use to turn customized silent mode on and off.
–
Press the button assigned to customized silent mode in the [UserButtonManager] app (see page 40)
–
Select [Custom silent] in the [Dashboard] app (see "Using [Dashboard]" (page 39))
–
Turn on [Customized silent mode] in the [Settings] app (see "Configuring customized silent mode"
(page 41))

[Panasonic Enterprise Launcher] app

You can change the home app to Panasonic Enterprise Launcher. If Panasonic Enterprise Launcher is set,
you can control the use of the functions or apps. In Panasonic Enterprise Launcher, there are two modes,
kiosk mode and user mode.
•
Administrator login is necessary to customize the Panasonic Enterprise Launcher.
•
Launcher3 is the Android standard home app.
Using [Panasonic Enterprise Launcher]
1. Swipe up the home screen, and then in the app list, tap [Settings] ® [Apps & notifications] (®
[Advanced])
2. Tap [Home app] ® [Panasonic Enterprise Launcher] (® tap
® [Admin login] ® enter the password (default: blank) ® [OK].

® [Settings], and then configure the desired settings according to your needs.

Touch operation settings

You can select or adjust the following touch operation modes to suit your working conditions.

Stylus pen mode: Changes the screen to a sensitivity optimized for stylus pen (included with certain
models and also available as an option) operations. For stylus pens, there are active types and passive
types, and you can select the type of stylus pen you will use in [Stylus pen type] ([Passive pen
only] by default).
Active types are capacitive stylus pens that have a built-in battery and support pen pressure detection
and functional buttons. Passive types are stylus pens with fine tips that can operate highly-sensitive
capacitive touchscreens.

Glove touch mode: Makes the screen more sensitive to touch operations. Useful when operating the
unit while wearing gloves.

Rain sensing touch mode: Prevents accidental operation when the screen is wet. The screen
recognizes touches by the amount of pressure you apply to the screen with your finger.
1. Swipe up the home screen, and then in the app list, tap [Settings] ® [Display] ® [Advanced] ®
[Touch operation mode].
