Thank you for choosing Vello. The Vello BG-N19-2 is compatible with the Nikon D850 DSLR, and it accepts one Nikon EN-EL15a rechargeable battery in addition to the camera’s internal battery. Eight AA batteries (alkaline, NiMH, or lithium) can be used instead for added convenience.
