4.2.4 Info toolbar

4.2.5 Zero
The Info (?) toolbar allows the User to visualize the data of the probe, such
as the release of the internal firmware, the Serial Number, current
Battery Voltage and last Calibration Date.
Zeroing is used for offset correction in order to optimize the sensitivity for
low static fields. To zero the probe, insert the tip of the probe into the
provided Zero Gauss Chamber to eliminate the Earth magnetic field, then
click on the Zero button.
Then click Yes and please wait for the zeroing process to complete.
At the end of the zeroing procedure, please remove the Zero Gauss
Chamber. The analyzer is immediately ready to be used.
Please pay attention the Zero Gauss Chamber is a very fragile tool. It
must be handled with care.
Even though the Zero Gauss Chamber was designed properly to have
a high shielding against surrounding magnetic fields, it is anyway
advisable to find an area where the magnetic field is low before
running the Zero calibration.
