Install the driver for the USB serial port.

Double-click "USB Serial Port" under [Other devices] in the "Device Manager"
window, and then click the [Update Driver...] button.

Click "Browse my computer for driver software".
Select the "Includes subfolders" check box and click the [Browse] button.

When the "Browse For Folder" dialog appears, select the "Driver" folder in the
support software installation disc and click the [OK] button.
When you use the driver software for the USB cable that has been copied into the support
software installation folder to install the driver software, select the support software installation
folder and click the [OK] button.
