Installation of the driver for the USB serial port automatically begins and a message
appears stating that the device driver software is being installed.
After a while, another message appears stating "Device driver software was not
successfully installed".
Install the driver.

In Device Manager, double-click "USB Serial Port" under "Other devices" to open
the "USB Serial Port Properties" dialog box.
Click the [Update Driver] button to open the "Update Driver Software" dialog box.

Select the "Includes subfolders" check box and click the [Browse] button.
