R: Selecting the Drive Mode
When the internal buffer memory becomes full during continuous
shooting, "buSY" will be displayed on the top LCD panel and in the
viewfinder and shooting will be disabled temporarily. As the
captured images are recorded to the memory card, you will be able
to shoot more images. Press the shutter button halfway to check in
the viewfinder's right for the current maximum burst. This is the
maximum number of shots that can be taken continuously.
If "Card * Full" is displayed in the viewfinder and on the top LCD panel, make
sure to wait until the access lamp stops blinking, then replace the memory card.
If the battery level drops to about 10% (p.29), the drive mode icon (o,
p,u) will blink.
Press the <o> button.

Select the drive mode.

While looking at the top LCD panel,
turn the <5> dial.
u : Single shooting
When you press the shutter button
completely, one shot will be taken.
o: High-speed continuous
shooting (Max. 5 shots per sec.)
p: Low-speed continuous
shooting (Max. 3 shots per sec.)
In the o and p modes, the
camera will shoot continuously
while you hold down the shutter
button completely.
k : Self-timer (10-sec. delay)
l : Self-timer (2-sec. delay)

6 : Silent single shooting
The shooting sound for single
shooting is quieter than <u>.
