4. Commissioning Switch on the power to the DucoBox Energy Premium (plug into power socket). When the DucoBox Energy Premium starts up for the first time, you will be asked to enter a few basic settings. Navigate using the arrow keys ( ) and confirm using enter ( ).

3. Start the WIZARD. The DucoBox Energy Premium will automatically detect whether it is a 1-zone or a 2-zone system. The system now enables control components to be paired with the entire system (step 4), zone 1 (step 5) or zone 2 (step 6).

Tips: The network can be wiped or a full reset of the DucoBox Energy Premium can be carried out in the event of any problems. To do this, refer to the following functions under the INSTALLATION menu (visible only after activating advanced mode).

6. Pre-setting vents In order to calibrate the air supply and exhaust correctly, these vents must be set depending on the situation in accordance with the table below. In order to configure the air supply and exhaust correctly, these vents must be set so they match the desired flow rate in line with the table opposite.

7. Calibrating flow rates Close all windows and doors. Ensure that all duct openings in the DucoBox Energy Premium are fully closed and that the DucoBox Energy Premium cover is closed. Avoid air leaks in the ventilation ducts. Open all interior doors between the various zones.

The calibrated flow rates can be checked at the various vents once adjustment and calibration have been completed. Do this by going into advanced mode and select “CALIBRATION → VERIFY HIGH LEVEL”. The DucoBox Energy Premium will now ventilate for 30 minutes at its calibrated ventilation setting.

9. Electronical Installation Removing / replacing components Removing paired components from the network or replacing is only possible within 30 minutes after the component is paired in or is restarted. Restarting can be done by disconnecting the power for a moment. After a time-span of 30 minutes, remove and replace operations are ignored.

5. Switch the DUCO WiFi Router on (slider button on the side at ‘R’ for ‘Router’) 6. Switch on the DucoBox. 7. Connect your smartphone to the DUCO Wi-Fi Router via Wi-Fi. You will find the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password on the back of the Wi-Fi Router.
