Installing a CF Card

Turn off the camera (p. 29).
• Check that the power/mode indicator is not lit.

CF card Eject Button
• When the indicator on the left side of the viewfinder blinks green, the camera is
writing, reading, erasing or transmitting an image to or from the card. Do not
perform the following, or image data may be lost or corrupted:
- Do not shake the camera.
- Do not turn off the power or open the battery cover or the CF card slot cover.
• Please note that CF cards formatted in or edited with computers, other
manufacturer's cameras or application programs may not operate correctly in the
camera.

Slide the CF card slot cover in the

direction of the arrow and lift it open.
Insert the CF card with the label facing
up.
• Push the card in until the CF card eject button
fully extends.
• To remove the CF card, push the CF card eject
button and pull the card out.
