tages:
it conducts the electromagnetic fields gen-

erated by a wireless device to the exterior.
the field strength in the vehicle interior is

lower than in a vehicle that does not have
an exterior aerial.

There are various mobile phone brackets
that may be fitted to your vehicle; in some
cases, these are country-specific.

Even if your vehicle is equipped with con-
venience telephony, you can connect a

Inserting the mobile phone
Open the telephone compartment

Place the mobile phone bracket into the

pre-installed bracket (see the separate
mobile phone bracket installation instruc-
tions).
Insert the mobile phone into the mobile

If the mobile phone is inserted in the mobile
phone bracket, you can speak to the person
you are calling using the hands-free system.

On some mobile phone brackets, you first
have to connect the mobile phone via Blue-
tooth

mobile phone does not have to be inserted
into the bracket for you to be able to use

Operating the mobile phone
You can operate the telephone using the

When you select key position 0 with the
Start/Stop button, the mobile phone stays on
but you can no longer use the hands-free sys-
tem.
If you are making a call and you would like to
select key position 0 with the Start/Stop but-
ton, first remove the mobile phone from the
bracket. Otherwise, the call will be ended.

When a mobile phone bracket is used that
is connected to the mobile phone via Blue-
tooth
"Private mode", you have to perform the
necessary steps on the mobile phone (see
