Battery

The battery supplies your notebook with the necessary power during mobile use. The battery
indicator displays the current state of the battery.
The battery in the notebook is not charged at the time of delivery. You must first charge

the battery with the power adapter connected to the mains supply (see the section
"Connecting the power adapter").
Information on how to install and remove the battery, how to maintain and service it, and how to
optimise the battery operating time can be found in the "EasyGuide" manual.

QuickPoint

1 = QuickPoint
The QuickPoint (1) enables you to move the mouse pointer on the screen. Both buttons (2 + 3) in
front of the keyboard are used for selecting and executing commands. They correspond to the
buttons on a conventional mouse.
By default, the larger button has been configured as the primary one, and the smaller

button as the secondary one.
If you wish to modify the settings (e.g. the configuration of both buttons or the pointer
speed) select Start - Settings- Control Panel - Mouse and change the settings according to
your needs.
