1. DESCRIPTION
•
Serials 0002 thru 2437: A fuel quantity indicator is installed in the center console directly forward of the
fuel selector valve. The fuel quantity indicator indicates the amount of usable fuel remaining in each
fuel tank. One float type fuel quantity sensor is installed in each integral fuel tank and each integral col-
lector tank. The fuel level senders are not adjustable. To adjust the fuel quantity indicator reading, the
indicator itself must be adjusted.
The fuel quantity indicator is a 2¼" dual indicator, with separate needles and markings for the LH and
RH fuel tanks, and a range of 0 gallons to full (F). The indicator has a yellow arc from 0 to 14 gallons, a
red line at 0 gallons, and a red arc from 0 gallons down to the minimum meter movement. The indicator
has 4 separate needle adjustment trim potentiometers for full and empty indications on the LH and RH
tanks. The annunciator indicates low fuel when both tanks are below approximately 14 gallons. These
outputs are monitored by the caution/warning annunciator panel to indicate a low fuel condition. The
indicator is internally lighted with externally replaceable lamps, and has non-reflective glass.
Serials 0002 thru 1601, 1603 thru 1643, 1645 thru 1662: A fuel flow gage is installed in the instrument
panel adjacent to the other engine instruments.
Serials 1602, 1644, 1663 thru 2437: Fuel flow is shown as text in the fuel data block located in the
lower right corner of the MFD and is also continuously displayed in the engine data block located in the
lower right corner of the PFD.
Fuel flow is monitored with a turbine flow sensor located between the throttle body and injection mani-
fold. For maintenance practices pertinent to the fuel flow gage and sensor refer to Chapter 73, Engine
Fuel System.

Serials 2438 & subs: A fuel quantity indicator is installed in the center console directly forward of the
fuel selector valve. The fuel quantity indicator indicates the amount of usable fuel remaining in each
fuel tank. Two float type fuel quantity sensors are installed in each integral fuel tank, one on the
inboard rib and one on the outboard rib. The fuel level senders are not adjustable. To adjust the fuel
quantity indicator reading, the indicator itself must be adjusted.
