Releasing the brake, platform A, C, D, E, ED, F, G, GD, H, and I
 Attach the rope (2) provided to
the loop to the left brake
release lever and (as depicted
in the adjacent figure) guide it
over the turning vane to the
right side.
 Lightly pull on the rope (2) and the right brake release-lever to
release the motor brakes. The platform glides downwards.
Brake releasing with platform versions B, BS, BL and BLL
 Attach the two provided cables
with the loops to the brake
release lever and (as depicted
in the adjacent figure) guide
them together in the centre.
 Release the motor brakes by
measured pulling on the
ropes (2). The platform glides
downwards.
CAUTION
The brake becomes very hot.
Interrupt the lowering process for 2 minutes at the latest after every
1-2 meters. The length of a mast section can be used for orientation.
 When at the next landing, release the rope (2) or the brake release
lever.
Stop so that the floor of the platform is slightly above the sill of the
landing-level safety door.
 Exit the platform.
