microSDHC cards are not compatible with this device.
Using an incompatible memory card may damage the
memory card as well as the device, and data stored on
the incompatible card may be corrupted.
Use a memory card
To format a memory card for your device, select
Options Format memory card. When a memory
card is formatted, all data on the card is lost
permanently. Consult your retailer to find out if you
must format the memory card before you can use it.
To change the name of the memory card, select
Options Memory card name.
You can protect a memory card with a password to
prevent unauthorised access. To set a password, select
Options Set password. The password can be up to
eight characters long and is case-sensitive. The
password is stored in your device. You do not need to
enter it again while you use the memory card in the
same device. If you use the memory card in another
device, you are asked for the password. Not all memory
cards support password protection.
To remove the memory card password, select
Options Remove password. When you remove the
password, the data on the memory card is not
protected against unauthorised use.
To open a locked memory card, select Options
Unlock memory card. Enter the password.

The input methods provided in the device may vary
according to different sales markets.
Traditional text input
Your device has a full keyboard. You can enter
punctuation marks by pressing the corresponding key
or a combination of keys.
To switch between the different character cases, press
the shift key. On the display, ,
indicate the selected character case.
To insert digits or characters printed at the top of keys,
press and hold the corresponding key, or press and
hold the function key and press the corresponding key.
To enter only the characters printed at the top of keys,
press the function key twice quickly.
To erase a character, press the backspace key. To erase
several characters, press and hold the backspace key.
To insert characters that are not shown on the keypad,
press the chr key.
To copy text, press and hold the shift key, and scroll to
highlight the word, phrase, or line of text you want to
copy. Press the function key + chr + c. To insert the text
into a document, move to the correct place and press
the function key + chr + v.
To change the writing language, or to switch off the
predictive text input, press the function key + spacebar,
and select from the available options.
