Port and extension blade transceivers

FC SFP+ transceivers installed in port blades and extension blade ports provide connections to devices on

FC fabrics. The FC ports on Extension blades support Fibre Channel Routing Services (FCRS) The

following figure illustrates a FC SFP+ transceiver. A separate fiber optic cable plugs into the transceiver.
