Compression Damping Force Adjustment
Adjust the setting of the compression damping force to
the standard position.
To adjust, turn the adjuster B clockwise until it stops
and then turn it counterclockwise until approximately
3/4 turns are felt and the two punch marks align.
Do not force the adjuster screw B B B B past the
stopped position or you may damage the
adjuster.

TIRE PRESSURE

Using an accurate air gauge, check the air pressure of
the front and rear tires.
The pressure should be as shown.

TRANSMISSION OIL

This motorcycle is shipped from factory with
the engine filled with transmission oil.
Be sure to check oil level.
Check the transmission oil level.
1. Run the engine for a few minutes and stop it.
Wait 5 minutes.
2. Place the motorcycle on the level ground.
3. Hold the motorcycle vertically.
4. Remove the oil level screw.
5. If the oil level is below the level hole, remove the oil
filler cap and add transmission oil into the filler hole
until the oil reaches the level hole and stop adding
just before oil flows out.
NOTE:
Use a good quality SAE 10W/40 viscosity rating.
6. Reinstall the filler cap and the oil level screw then
tighten it securely.
