Adjusting the back part, tension belt, and control handle
1.
Place the blower on your back by putting your arms through the shoulder straps, as if putting a
jacket on.
2. As soon as the adjustments to the tension belt have been made for user comfort, take the leaf
blower off your back and place it in an upright position on an even surface.
3. Adjust the back part and control handle.
Fuel and oil
Fuel
Use unleaded petrol with normal quality mixed with special 2-stroke motor oil for best results. Use the
mixing ratio stated in the section fuel mixing table further below.
Warning:
Never only use petrol for the device. This will lead to permanent motor damages and void the
manufacturer's warranty for this product. Never use a fuel mix, which has been stored for longer than
90 days.
Warning:
Only use top-quality 2-stroke lubricant/oil for air cooled 2-stroke motors mixed with a 1:30
ratio. Do not use 2-cycle oil product with a recommended mixing ratio of 1:100. If an insufficient lubrica-
tion is the reason for a motor damage, it will void the warranty of the manufacturer.
Mixing the fuel
First fill oil into an approved fuel container, then petrol, to allow the petrol to mix with the oil. Shake the
container to mix the two liquids thoroughly.

Starting and stopping the motor

Ensure that the ignition switch (B) is not in stop position (fig. 9).
2. Operate the primer pump 10 times by pressing the primer (D) (fig. 10).
3. Your device is equipped with a 2-position throttle: full choke "close" (pos. 1) and "run"
(Pos. 2). Put the choke lever into the full choke "close" position (fig. 11).
4. Place the device on the ground and hold the upper support handle.
5. Pull the starter rope 4–6 times. If the device does not start, put the choke lever into the centre
position and pull it another 4–6 times. Wait 10 s after the device has started and place the choke
lever into the 2
6. Push the B button and operate the accelerator to start.
