3. Installation precautions
· Do not wash the air purifying filter and deodorizing filter. Doing so will decrease their air cleaning efficiency.
· Do not place the air purifying filter and deodorizing filter near a stove or other hot appliance. Otherwise, they will be
deformed, decreasing their efficiency.
· When using the air purifying filter and deodorizing filter, set the air conditioner's fan speed to "HIGH" in order to increase
the efficiency.
· When the air purifying filter and deodorizing filter are installed, the amount of air produced decreases, causing a slight
decrease in the air conditioner's capacity.
· Do not store the air purifying filter in an extremely hot or humid location. Install the air purifying filter immediately after
opening its package. (Leaving the air purifying filter unwrapped decreases its air cleaning efficiency.)
4. Replacing the air purifying filter and deodorizing filter
· Air Purifying Filter (Wasabi Filter)
Depending on the size of the room and the conditions in which the air conditioner is used, the normal life of the air
purifying filter is about three months. If the air purifying filter becomes dirty within three months, replace it as soon as
possible. (Always dispose of used air purifying filters, do not reuse them.)
· Deodorizing Filter (Light Recovery Filter)
To regenerate the deodorizing effect, remove the dust by vacuuming and place the filter in direct sunlight for six hours
about once every six months. Under normal conditions, there's no need to replace the filter for three years.
· When replacing the air purifying filter, purchase a replacement air clean filter (UTR-FB11) from your air conditioner parts
dealer.
