f The [KEY] screen is displayed.

Press asqw to select the character, and press the <ENTER> button to enter the character.
f The character string that can be registered as the key is as follows.
g 8 to 15 alphanumeric characters

Once the entry of key is completed, press asqw to select [OK], and press the <ENTER> button.

Press as to select [STORE], and press the <ENTER> button.
f The confirmation screen is displayed.

Press qw to select [OK], and press the <ENTER> button.
Note
f The factory default setting for [KEY] is set to the same character string as the network ID "Projxxxx" (xxxx is 4-digit number). The network
ID is a fixed value assigned to each product. The network ID can be confirmed in the standby screen projected when switched to Panasonic
APPLICATION input.
Setting [M-DIRECT]
1)
Press as to select [WIRELESS LAN].
2)
Press qw to select [M-DIRECT].
3)
Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [WIRELESS DETAILED SETUP] screen is displayed.

Press asqw to select an item, and change the setting according to the operation instruction of the
menu.

[SSID]
[CHANNEL]
[KEY]

Once the setting change is completed, press as to select [STORE], and press the <ENTER> button.
f The confirmation screen is displayed.

Press qw to select [OK], and press the <ENTER> button.

f By leaving the [KEY] setting as the factory default value, it is possible for the malicious third party to intercept the radio wave, and content of
the communication may be eavesdropped. Be sure to change it from the factory default value.
f For setting content of each item, consult the network administrator.
f Do not use in ANY connection with SSID set to "any" or "ANY" character string. ANY connection is a method to connect to a wireless LAN
device with best reception that was detected in the range where the radio wave reaches the wireless LAN compatible device.
f Depending on the device, key may be represented as "password for SSID".
f The authentication method is fixed to WPA2-PSK and the encryption method is fixed to AES.
f When [M-DIRECT] is set, the projector will function as a DHCP server. Set the device to connect to the projector via LAN to automatically
acquire the IP address.
r Factory default setting
f Following is preset as the factory default setting.
[IP ADDRESS]
[SUBNET MASK]
Chapter 4 Settings — [NETWORK/USB] menu
Enter the IP address.
Enter the subnet mask.
Set SSID to be used.
Select the channel to be used.
Set the key to be used.
Enter 8 to 63 characters of ASCII character, or 64-digit hexadecimal number.
