Checking the direction of rotation and how to change it

WARNING
This test may only be performed by authorized personnel with the appropriate training.
To check the direction of rotation the motor must be switched on briefly. The motor must not be
allowed to reach the normal operating speed. Rotating is shown by red arrow on the electric motor
(1) and drive belt safety guard (2).
Note
If the direction of rotation is incorrect, the connection on the terminal board must be changed
or, if a phase reversal plug is present, the pins of the plug must be reversed.
DANGER
Before any action electric power MUST be disconnected. Wiring should be
performed by specialized personnel only.
