Removing and installing the hard disk (HDD,
LIFEBOOK U758 only)
In the LIFEBOOK U758, you can either install an M.2 module (with corresponding M.2 adapter, see
"Installing and removing an M.2 module", Page 76) or a standard hard disk (HDD, without M.2 adapter).

Removing the hard disk

► Remove the cover, see "Remove the cover", Page 76.
For easier removal from the device, the hard disk is installed in a hard disk carrier.

► Pull the hard disk in the direction of the arrow (1).
► Release the connector from the hard disk (2).
► Remove the hard disk from the hard disk compartment.
