Removing and installing the battery

Only use batteries approved by Fujitsu for your notebook.
Never use force when fitting or removing a battery.
Make sure that no foreign bodies get into the battery connections.
Never store a battery for long periods in the discharged state. This
can make it impossible to recharge.
The LIFEBOOK U748 is illustrated below. The procedure is the
same for all three device variants.
Removing a battery
► Prepare for removal, see chapter
► Slide the release button (1) in the direction of the arrow and hold it in place.
► Slide the release button (2) in the direction of the arrow.
► Reach into the opening (a) and pull the battery out of the battery compartment
in the direction of the arrow (3).
