8 ADDITIONAL FUNTIONS

To work in the Addition of products during distillation mode, it is necessary to
connect the liquids inlet valve (1) instead of the temperature probe before starting
the working process. Keep in mind that the valve must keep closed.
Connect one of the ends of a silicone pipe to the inlet valve and the other one sub-
merged into the liquid to add.
During the process, with certain vacuum level and, preferable, with the vacuum pump
running, open the manual valve to make that the pipe suck liquid in the system.

Finally, close the valve.
9 MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
MAINTENANCE:
Before opening the equipment cover, disconnect it from the mains.
Regulation elements and heating should only be handled by qualified maintenance
personnel.
CLEANING:
It is recommended once a month to make a preventive cleaning of lime deposits from
the tank and the internal heating and pumping system. To do so, follow the instructions:
1. Empty the bath.
2. Fill with a vinegar solution at 10%.
3. Operate the bath for about 30 minutes at maximum temperature.
4. Empty the bath.
5. Dry with a cloth.
To clean the different parts of the equipment, we recommend the following products:
Stainless steel cleaning with alcohol.
Plastic cleaning with alcohol in a cotton or a non abrasive clothe.
At the end of the equipment use, one must clean the remains of water or other
products from the piping system.
