Cleaning the filters

Cleaning the water inlet filter and
replacing the gasket
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the appliance
can lead to water damage or damage
to the appliance.
■ Turn off the water supply tap after
each use, before cleaning the water
inlet fi lter or before replacing the seal.
Otherwise there is a risk of water da-
mage.
■ Close the tap before cleaning the fi l-
ter or replacing the gaskets.
■ Check and clean fi lters and gaskets
regularly.
■ Replace defect fi lters and gaskets im-
mediately. Never operate the appli-
ance without fi lters and gaskets.
In the water inlet, the appliance contains filters
that prevent foreign particles from penetrating
the appliance.
Clean the filter every 30 wash cycles or if the
appliance is not getting enough water despite
the tap being open completely.
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Take the mains plug out of the socket and
turn off the tap.
Care and maintenance
Cleaning filter in the inlet hose
1. Unscrew the water inlet hose (b) from the
tap.

2. Pull the filter (37) out of the union nut, e.g.
with tweezers or a pair of pliers.
3. Rinse the filter under fresh water and
clean with a small, soft brush.
4. Re-insert the filter.
5. Screw the water inlet hose onto the tap
again.
Cleaning filter in the inlet hose
connecting nozzle
1. Unscrew the water inlet hose from the ap-
pliance.
2. Use pliers to remove the filter (38) from the
water inlet hose's connecting nozzle (13).
3. Rinse the filter under fresh water and
clean it with a small, soft brush.
4. Reinsert the filter and screw the water inlet
hose back onto the connecting nozzles.
5. Open the tap to check whether the water
inlet hose and connections are sealed.
