Additional Address

The Additional Address feature allows the radio to send Radio Messaging System (RMS) messages
and Local Information Protocol (LIP) reports to additionally defined recipients.
The default addresses for the RMS messages and LIP reports are defined by your service provider.
RMS messages and LIP reports are also sent to selected and enabled additional address.
You can create, edit, and delete additional addresses using the radio menu. For service provider-
configured additional addresses, your service provider can disable the editing and deletion of the
additional addresses.
You can define up to 30 additional addresses.

Enabling or Disabling Additional Address

Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu key.
2 Select Messages→Additional Address→Enable.
3 Select one of the following options:
To activate the feature, select On.
To deactivate the feature, select Off.

Selecting Additional Address

Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu key.
2 Select Messages→Additional Address→Select Address.
The radio displays a list of aliases.
3 Highlight your alias and press Select.

Viewing Additional Address

Procedure:
1 From the home screen, press the Menu key.
2 Select Messages→Additional Address→Select Address.
3 Scroll to select the alias of the Additional Address you wish view.
4 Press the Menu key.
5 Select one of the following options:
Edit (for User Defined Additional Address alias)
