If air ow is blocked, burners can overheat and stop working temporarily. Cooktop ventilation areas - DO NOT OBSTRUCT! - Page 19 With the cooktop being ON as mentioned above, press the desired cooking zone “+” key. The display will blink and show a “1”. Then press either the “+” key, “-” key or “Boost” to select a cooking level. The cooking zone will automatically turn on readiness mode if a key is not pressed within 30 seconds.
